Eventual winner Simon Attridge took the lion's share of the money, picking up £1,299 in cash along with a ticket worth £220 for next Saturday's Main Event when the prize money is guaranteed to be at least £10,000 with the winner sure to get a minimum of £5,000. Casino Regis made it into second place and won £730. Third place went to Darren Doherty who grabbed £360.

| By the end of a titanic struggle, the top two finishers in last night's poker tournament shared the best part of £800 in cash between them - and Kevin Stearn finally lost his cherry. The last in our series of £50 Shoot-Outs attracted twenty-seven runners, including Andy Waite who had not played at the club for over a year. Well, it seems that having made it back after all this time, Andy was in no hurry to leave. With the field seven-handed and just six requred for the final table, play went on for a further one hour and twenty minutes, before Andy was eventually dislodged. After that, the attrition continued, until a final pairing was reached of Kevin Stearn and Steve Mills. The two decided upon a carve-up of the money with second place going to Steve and top spot being awarded Kevin who was recording his first ever win in a live tournament. |

Karl Hills won Monday's £10 Rebuy poker tournament and after a deal was cut for the top five places he picked up the first prize of £750. Runners-up Dave Fletcher, Kevin Kelly, Sam Burke and Kostas Savvides each settled for £400 cash.
Earlier in the evening, 20 runners had turned-up for the Poker League Freeroll. The game ended with a heads-up clash between Jonny Brooks and Lee Harris. The winning hand was Jonny's Q,Q vs. Lee's 10,4. The flop came 10,4,2,7,9... giving Lee two pairs. Unfortunately for him, four of the board cards were hearts and Jonny's Queen-of-Hearts took it for the flush and the win. Previously, Jonny had kindly given the first prize to Lee who picked up £100 in poker torunament vouchers. Top 9 finishers were: Jonny Brooks, Lee Harris, Steve Watkins, Richard Bailey, Danny Toffel, Bernard Gonsales, Jon Clark, Adel Matty and Vishal Patel - all of whom received a free entry into an into a BiG SLiCK online schedules torunament worth $20.
